Sunset Mesa Software is an indie software studio in Colorado. We build desktop tools that respect your ownership, your data, and your wallet.

Philosophy

We believe software should be something you own, not something you rent. Every app is a single purchase. No subscriptions, and no surprises on your credit card statement.

AI features use a BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) model. You connect your own API key and pay only for the compute you actually use. We never see your keys, and your data goes directly to your AI provider, never through our servers.

Prefer to keep everything in-house? With the right hardware, our apps can run a local model instead. There's no API key and no per-use cost, and your data never leaves your machine.

Major version upgrades may be paid, but they're always optional. No forced upgrades, no kill switch.
